Our History

Established by Bevin and Beverley Jenner in 1974, Bev Jenner Constructions started as a one-man plant hire business.

Bev purchased his first Masey Ferguson backhoe and commenced servicing the building and construction industry with all their civil earthmoving requirements. Bevin had spent several years prior to this, working with Leighton Contractors, as both a cadet draftsperson and then field supervisor / plant operator.

In these early years of business Bev’s services were called upon to assist with some plant hire requirements by a company, previously ‘Austral Pacific Fertilizers’ and now known as ‘Incitec Pivot’. This would be the start of a relationship extending more than 25 years. BJCO provided ‘Incitec’ with a highly skilled labour force to undertake all facets of building and construction.

Over the course of the next 25 odd years, BJCO would continue to evolve with knowledge and experience and would undertake a number or tendered building projects on both ‘Incitec’s’ Gibson Island and Pinkenba sites. BJCO have also been associated with providing the likes of ‘Barclay Mowlem’ (now ‘Lang O’Rourke’), ‘The BMD group’ , ‘Cosmopolitan Constructions’ and ‘Canstruct’ with a specialised managed workforce, to assist in their numerous projects.

During the late 90’s, BJCO began building and renovating for the general public and in doing so created the business ‘Bev Jenner Constructions Ltd’, as we are known today.

Over the course of the last 10 -15 years, BJCO have earned a reputation for having a specialised staff for building quality residential homes and have established relationships with a number of reputable architects throughout south east Queensland and as far afield as Western Australia.
